Information Page

Uncle Eddie creates his art as
inspiration strikes. This means that you may find him in his shop as dawn
breaks, or in his garden under work lights at 3:00 a.m. putting the
finishing touches on a mortared wall, or hidden fairy door. Of course, you
are just as likely to find him at a normal hour, since sleep consists of
cat naps against a gnarly old stump under an apple tree behind his
workshop.
Each piece of art is hand crafted and requires many
hours of creative effort. When a sculpture or other piece of art is
completed, it is placed in Uncle Eddie's Internet Garden. There, you may
view currently available works of art, priced accordingly. Since each
piece is individually crafted, and may take up to two months to complete,
supply is limited. Prices do not include shipping and handling.
You may also commission Uncle Eddie to consult,
place, and position his art work in your own garden. Uncle Eddie can
create an imaginative, magical setting in your garden that may include
miniature mortared walls, stone pathways, hidden entrances, and advice on
appropriate plantings to enhance the sculptures. Consultation and design
is done on a per hour basis. Travel fees are not included in the price.
If you are inspired by what you see on this site,
you may consider commissioning a piece of work. You may discuss general
guidelines of design, including size and features, but each piece evolves
as it is created. No two pieces are identical, and Uncle Eddie continually
improves and expands on his designs.
If you would like to see
some examples of Uncle Eddie's work in person, please
e-mail
us for information. Currently, pieces are available in various locations
in New England, and Colorado.
